Registration now open for our tour!

Pre-registration is now ending.  There are only 12 more spots left for the tour of our earthship on November 2, 2014.  If you’d like to see what 862 dirt-filled tires and 10,000 pop cans look like, then follow the link to get your ticket.  We haven’t had to fire up the rocket heater yet, but usually by November 1st we’ve got it running.  Learn about clay plaster and earthen floors and if weather permits we’ll take a look around the first part of our permaculture installation.  Ask questions about the permitting process and see what one family can do for $73,000.  See you on November 2nd!  http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/899744

Val, did you register through Brown Paper Tickets at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/903211 ? I don’t see your name registered there but there are still 7 tickets left! If you subscribed through our site that just gets you on the list for newsletter and notices of pre-registration. You have to go to the Brown Paper Ticket sites to pay for your $10 ticket. Let me know if I can help further.

Welcome to our homesteading adventure in south central BC, Canada! In 2009 we started building an earthship in Darfield. We moved in three and a half years later. Now that the biggest jobs are finished we are having fun homesteading in a modern world. Join us for discussions about finishing the earthship, food preservation, beekeeping, livestock, permaculture and how we interact with technology. It's all about simple living and stewardship of the land without deprivation. Together with our three teenagers we're learning as we go.
